Glycerine is a sweet-tasting, colourless liquid with a thick consistency. Glycerine can be dissolved in water or alcohol but not for use with oils. Use with fondant to add stretch & pliability, soften old fondant without making it sticky. You can even add to royal icing to soften the setting of it, or mix with chocolate to thicken for piping work!
