Debosser fondant embosser - Clear Acrylic

Create beautifully detailed designs on fondant and gumpaste with these easy-to-use clear acrylic debossers. The transparent acrylic makes it easy to see exactly where you are placing your design, helping you achieve accurate results when decorating cakes, cookies and cupcakes.

A fondant debosser creates an rasied design in your icing, which can then be highlighted with edible paint or lustre dust for an extra decorative finish.

How to Use a Clear Acrylic Debosser

1. Roll out your fondant or gumpaste to an even thickness.
2. Place the clear acrylic debosser onto the icing with the design facing down.
3. Using a rolling pin, roll firmly over the debosser in one direction only.
4. Lift the debosser carefully to reveal the impressed design.

Important: Roll over the debosser in one direction only. Rolling backwards and forwards can distort the design and give you a less defined result.

Once your design has been impressed into the icing, you can use a cookie or fondant cutter to cut the icing into your desired shape. Your decorated fondant is then ready to place onto cookies, cupcakes or cakes.

Add Colour to Your Design

For an extra decorative effect, highlight the impressed design with edible paint or lustre dust. Mix lustre dust or powder colour with a small amount of rose spirit to create an edible paint, then carefully brush it over the design.

The clear acrylic makes these fondant debossers particularly easy to position, making them a useful addition to your cake decorating tools.
