Prevent overcooked exteriors and gooey centres with a heating rod. Fat Daddio's ProSeries Heating Rods are designed to ensure that the centre of the cake is thoroughly-baked and rises evenly without requiring additional time in the oven.

A heating rod is recommended by professionals for cakes larger than 9" in diameter or 3" and 4" deep to evenly- distribute heat conduction to the centre of the cake. Use one or more heating rods to improve baking results for deep, large and novelty-shaped cakes. Safe for breads, pastries, savoury foods and more.

Built to last through daily use in both the home kitchen and commercial establishments. 4.25" x 1.5" (10.8 x 3.8 cm). Stainless steel. Use one or more heating rods to improve baking results with deeper, larger and novelty-shaped cakes. Prep the pan as usual. Fill the pan with batter. Place heating rod at the bottom of the pan, in the deepest part with the flat head on the bottom. Remove rods after baking. Ice as usual.

Great for use with any cake pan, also works well with Dolly Varden pan
