 The Tala Cake Marker helps you to design patterns to decorate your cake. The two wedges are pierced with holes. One wedge is equal to 1/16 of a circle. Two wedges, hinged together, form 1/8, 1/10 and 1/12 of a circle. This product is based on the original Tala Cake Marker design in the 1960's Tala catalogues.

Instructions included on the back of the packaging;
1. To find the centre, open the two wedges to make a straight line. Place on top of a cake and move about until the wedge ends form a straight line and are at equal. The pivot is now fixed in position with a pin.
2. To make circles, insert a Tala Cake Tester into the selected hole of wedge and swivel it around the centre, until circle is completed.
3. To divide the cake, use one wedge or the two wedges joined together and mark close to the side of the wedge onto the top and sides of the cake.
4. The marked section can be joined by looping to make patterns.

The 'C' scroll and 'S' scroll which are often used for cake decorating are cut into the cake marker and can easily be scored on the top and sides of the cake.

Care and Use
Thoroughly wash products in hot soapy water before first use, rinse and dry.
